Meet the Team
Fenora is a small, Manitoba-based team. Rather than one founder's face on this page, we've built our hiring and training standard to be the thing you can count on — every caregiver who wears the Fenora name meets the same bar, whether you meet them in month one or year three.
As we grow, the caregivers and licensed nurses on our team will have their own space here — name, background, and what led them to caregiving — for anyone comfortable being introduced that way. For now, here's what every Fenora team member has in common.
Background-checked
Every caregiver on the Fenora team passes a criminal record check and reference checks before ever meeting a client.
Fenora-Certified
Our caregivers complete Fenora's in-house training program covering companionship, homemaking, and personal care fundamentals.
Matched, not assigned
We consider personality, experience, and specific care needs before pairing a caregiver with a family — see Our Approach for how that works.
Supported, not solo
Caregivers aren't left to figure things out alone. The Fenora team stays involved with scheduling support and regular check-ins.
A note on nursing care
Nursing-tier care — medication administration, wound care, and other regulated tasks — is provided by independent contractor RNs and LPNs who hold an active, verifiable license through the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba (CRNM) or the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Manitoba (CLPNM). It's the one part of our team where "licensed" is the right word — see our Nursing Care page for details.
