Fenora Home Care

About Fenora

Our Story

Two hearts, one care.

Fenora started because we saw how hard it was for Manitoba families to find flexible, affordable care for aging parents. The options felt like a compromise: a big national franchise that treats your family like a file number, or a patchwork of independent contractors with no one coordinating the whole picture.

We wanted something in between — a company small enough to know your family's situation, and organized enough to actually deliver on what it promises. So we built Fenora from scratch, here in Manitoba, for Manitoba families.

Where the name comes from

Our logo is a heart split into two halves — coral-rose on one side, sage on the other. It's not just a design choice. It represents the two people at the centre of every care relationship: the caregiver and the family they're supporting. Neither half works without the other. Good home care isn't a service handed down from a company to a client — it's a partnership, built one match at a time.

That's where our tagline comes from: Two hearts, one care. It's the standard we hold every caregiver match to, and it's why we spend real time getting that match right instead of just filling a shift.

Why home care, and why now

Manitoba's population is aging, and more families than ever are trying to help a parent stay independent at home for as long as possible — often while juggling their own jobs, kids, and lives. We started Fenora to make that easier: real caregivers, trained through our own in-house program, matched thoughtfully, and backed by a team that stays involved after care begins rather than disappearing once the paperwork is signed.

We're a Manitoba company, built for Manitoba families, starting right here in Winnipeg and Southern Manitoba.
