Our Approach
Our matching process
The Fenora Match
We built a simple, deliberate process for pairing caregivers with families, because a rushed match is where home care usually goes wrong. The Fenora Match looks at four things before we ever suggest a caregiver.
Care needs
The specific tasks and support your loved one needs day to day, from companionship to personal care to nursing.
Schedule & routine
When care is needed and how it fits around existing routines, appointments, and family visits.
Personality fit
Whether a caregiver's temperament and communication style will feel comfortable and familiar, not just capable.
Relevant experience
Prior experience with similar needs — dementia care, mobility support, post-surgical recovery, and more.
How it works, step by step
- 1
We listen first. Every match starts with an intake conversation about your loved one's needs, routine, and personality — not a form filled out in isolation.
- 2
We weigh the four factors above against the caregivers available in your area, prioritizing fit over simply who's available soonest.
- 3
We introduce the match and stay close during the first visits to make sure it's working — and adjust quickly if it isn't.
- 4
We check in on an ongoing basis — care needs change, and we'd rather catch that early than wait for a problem.
For nursing care, the same care goes into matching, with one addition: every nurse we work with holds an active, verifiable license through CRNM or CLPNM before they're ever paired with a client.
